A Short Thread On The Best Budget Midfielders (<£7M)
September 18, 2021
With the addition of many new premiums in the game, we’re currently in need of many budget midfielders to afford those big names. Let’s see, who can be the best option to own.
Raphinha : Best budget midfielder in his price range with great fixtures ahead. I don’t think it’s wise to go without him. But if you can’t afford him, his teammate Harrison is another good, differential & underrated option.
Benrahma : Fantastic pre-season, 2 double digits in a row in opening fixtures, then 2 blanks in a row. But still, he offers great value. His partners Bowen & Fornals are also good differential options. But the arrival of Vlasic can affect any of them, probably Fornals?
Saka : After a disgusting starting, Arsenal, at last, won a match last week. Saka is a decent option from them, solid player & solid asset. They have fantastic fixtures ahead. His teammates Odegaard & ESR can be also good assets.
Maddison/Barnes : Both started the season with good hypes following a good performance in 20/21, but both are failed to do anything in this season yet. Still, they have good fixtures ahead. Barnes got a goal & assist last night in UEL. Hope both will do good very soon.
JWP : With Ings’ departure, he’s on almost all set pieces duties of the Saints. He’s always a good fantasy option. Expecting some good returns from him in upcoming great fixtures.
Adama : Fantastic fixtures with great underlying stats. If he can improve his finishing skill, he’ll be a no-brainer. I think he’ll offer great value soon. His teammates Trincao & Podence are also good options to go.
Sarr : Talisman of Watford. Though low scoring team, I think he’ll be involved with almost all goals they’ll score. His speed is the main attacking power of the team. With great fixtures ahead, he can be a decent choice.
Gray : Great form. Continuously overperforming his underlying stats. 3 goals from 3 SoT. 100% conversion rate! Too much cheap. One of the best budget enablers. His teammate Doucoure is also offering good value, but Gray is better to go right now.
Gallagher : Already delivered 2 goals & 1 assist since his debut for Palace in GW2. Set piece taker. Huge goal & assist threat. Great budget enabler. Zaha is also a good option from Palace, if you wanna pay more.
Mbeumo : Play OOP at CF with Toney, and usually plays more forward than Toney. Though missed many big chances already, I think he’ll get some returns very soon. Still, he’s a good option to go.
There are also many options to consider, worth mentioning Soucek, Buendia, Willock, Trossard, Cantwell etc.
